The famous State Ballet of St. Petersburg was created in 1990 by the family of professional dancers and by a dynasty that is older than 100 years.

St.Petersburg State Ballet has successfully conducted more than 50 tours around the world including Japan, France, Belgium, England, Ireland, Spain, United States, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Turkey, Estonia, Island of Malta, and many other countries. The theater has participated in 10 International Ballet Festival. Today the repertoire of the theater "Russian Ballet" includes classical masterpieces such as "Swan Lake", "Sleeping Beauty", "Nutcracker", "Giselle", "Paquita", "Chopiniana", "Don Quixote", "The Night Walpurgis "," La Bayadere "and the gala concert of the stars of the ballet" The Golden Age of the Ballet of St. Petersburg. "

The company of the theater "Russian Ballet", and the corps de ballet and soloists, are all graduates of the famous Vaganova Ballet Academy, the oldest dance school in the world (founded in 1738). The "Russian Ballet" perceives as its main mission the preservation of authentic choreography of the Kirov (now Mariinsky). Each dance is performed in its original choreography.

In St. Petersburg, for the last 20 years, the "Russian Ballet" of St. Petersburg has performed on stage in one of the best theaters in the world – the Imperial Hermitage Theatre of Hermitage State. There are only 250 seats in the theater and it can not accommodate all those who would like to see the performance of this famous ballet company. Therefore, in 2006 the company began performing on stage in another beautiful and historic Theatre of St. Petersburg - The Palace Theatre, nowadays the theater of musical comedy.

Thousands of admirers of ballet from all over the world come to these beautiful theaters each year. It isa great honor for the company of "Russian Ballet" of St. Petersburg's oldest performing on stage in St. Petersburg.

«Swan Lake»

«Swan Lake» - the most famous ballet spectacle in the world. Not only the music, but also the choreography of this ballet is considered a masterpiece for a long period of time, one of the greatest achievements of the Russian culture. A White Swan will always be a symbol of Russian ballet, the symbol of its beauty and grandeur.

This spectacle takes an important place in the repertoire of the Theatre “Russian Ballet”. The fairy story of the Swan Princess Odette and Prince Siegfried leaves no one spectator indifferent.
Ballet is accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra. The original choreography is carefully preserved. Tchaikovsky's immortal music, colorful scenery and costumes, brilliant dance of the ballet company - all this attracts the attention of the public and provides a full house.

«The Nutcracker»

The ballet consists of two acts with epilogue.

The first night of the ballet "The Nutcracker" was held in Saint Petersburg on December 6, 1892, and it has been regularly staged in theatres for more than 120 years.

The colorful festival, fantastic tricks, bright dolls, burning with lights festive Christmas tree, airy dance of snowflakes and the touching story of Masha and the Nutcracker leaves indifferent neither young spectators nor their parents. The colorful ballet is interesting for both children and adults.

«The Sleeping Beauty»

Ballet-fairy show consists of two acts with a Prologue and Apotheosis.

The spectacle was created more than 120 years ago. The author of the music is Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. He produced a unique creation, that time there was one equal creation that could be compared with. He raised the level of ballet music at such a high level that many years after it has been considered as the highest standard. This is evidenced by the fact that the famous music of " The Sleeping Beauty" is performed at concerts of many world-famous conductors and orchestras. The composer considered his creation "the best of all the works."

Marius Petipa, his coauthor-choreographer, was not behind the famous composer in genius. The ballet strikes with splendor of various choreographic paints. Precisely "The Sleeping Beauty" ballet is considered by critics  "an encyclopedia of the classical dance."

The spectacle "The Sleeping Beauty" performed by Theatre "Russian Ballet" is a real poem about the fight between Good and Evil, all-conquering power of Love, the magic colorful ballet-fairy show.

For over 15 years Theatre agency "SoyuzSportTheatre" has successfully staged Gala Concert performances with leading Russian ballet soloists. Among these stars of the Russian ballet are included such luminaries as Farukh Ruzimatov, Svetlana Zakharova, Igor Zelensky, Anastasia Volochkova, Uliana Lopatkina, Igor Kolb, Irma Nioradze, Tatiana Tkachenko, Sergey Popov, and many others.

The Gala Concert consists of scenes from the most famous ballets in all of ballet history. In one performance the audience has a unique chance to see highlights of the most famous classical ballets performed by the best Russian ballet dancers.

From the newest ballet fan to the most discriminating balletomane, the Gala Concert “The Night of Russian ballet” offers the most exciting ballet presentation on the face of the earth. In this Gala-concert Tatiana Tkachenko, Vera Arbuzova, Dmitry Rudachenko, Marat Shemiunov, Irina Perren, Mikhail Venshchikov, Dmitry Zavalishin, Maria Makarenko, Mayya Dumchenko, Ivan kozlov, Anna Sysoeva took part.
